Advice aligned with you

A gallery represents its artists and advocates for the work in its program. My role is different. As an independent advisor, I work for you.

Art advisors can be compensated through commissions, markups, referral fees, or purchase-related gallery discounts. Cariño is fee-only. I am paid directly by my clients; I do not accept compensation from galleries, and I pass any discount I negotiate directly to you.

You will understand what a work costs, how I am compensated, and why I believe an acquisition belongs in your collection. My expertise should make the art world more transparent, not more opaque.
